Commercial Audits
The most important thing we can do is listen to you to understand your energy goals and motivations. Are you interested in energy efficiency because it will lower costs, help the environment, or provide a better customer experience? Maybe all three?
Depending on your goals and motivations, we offer varying service levels of energy audits.
Benchmarking Report - The first step is to identify how energy efficient you are currently running. We will analyze your last 12 months of energy bills to determine the next steps. If you are already an energy efficient operation, we will only be able to tell you how great you are doing. If you have lots of room for improvement, we can help you become a highly efficient business (and then tell you how great you are).
Deep Dive -Â If the benchmark report shows room for improvement, we will perform a more in depth analysis of your energy data. From this analysis we can develop a list of initiatives and rebates that will be able to save you on energy and costs.
Project Management - We understand that you are busy, so if you want us to design your energy plan and get it all implemented, we can do that too!
The top three reasons why a business should consider getting an energy audit are:
Cost Savings: An energy audit helps identify inefficiencies and areas of energy waste within a business's operations. By uncovering these energy-saving opportunities, businesses can make informed decisions to reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills. Implementing energy-efficient measures, such as upgrading lighting systems, optimizing HVAC systems, or improving insulation, can lead to significant cost savings over time.
Environmental Sustainability: Businesses have a responsibility to minimize their environmental impact. Conducting an energy audit allows them to assess their energy usage, identify sources of energy waste, and develop strategies to reduce their carbon footprint. By implementing energy-efficient measures, businesses can decrease greenhouse gas emissions, conserve natural resources, and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Enhanced Operational Efficiency: Energy audits provide valuable insights into a business's energy consumption patterns and equipment performance. By evaluating energy usage in various processes, businesses can identify areas of inefficiency and implement measures to optimize their operations. This can lead to improved productivity, reduced downtime, and better overall performance. Identifying and addressing energy-related issues also helps extend the lifespan of equipment, reducing maintenance and replacement costs.
Overall, an energy audit enables businesses to make data-driven decisions, prioritize energy-saving initiatives, and achieve a more sustainable and cost-effective operation.
